Continued preservation of these resources is a high priority. The county's natural landscapes consist of a network of streams, wetlands, floodplains, and forests. These environmental features overlay all other landscapes and are protected by regulations or should be subject to limited disturbance. Conservation practices protect and restore these natural resources. View map
